Lipa Cave, the only preserved cave in Montenegro (there are many underground in the country), with a beautiful 2.5 km long trail, its halls and galleries, is today one of Montenegro's most important tourist attractions, offering a unique experience. Its beauty has been known since ancient times, with special attention paid to it by Peter II Petrović Njegoš and King Nikola I, two great figures in Montenegrin history.

Lipa Cave was discovered before the Petrovic family. Renowned 19th-century researchers and scientists left written records of their investigations into the cave, its decorations, and underground motifs, and exploration of the cave continued into the 20th and 21st centuries.

It opened to the public in 2015 and has since offered unforgettable tours led by expert guides whose kind and helpful attitude further enhances this extraordinary experience. It's easy to reach, just 5 km from the ancient capital of Cetinje, 33 km from Budva, and 35 km from Podgorica. Its well-maintained trails and modern lighting make it even more attractive and perfectly safe. The cave is preserved in accordance with high international standards for the conservation of natural resources. Don't forget a jacket when you visit; the temperature inside is between 8 and 12 degrees Celsius.

Just a year after its opening, sites like Montenegro Travel , Trip Advisor , and many others have recommended Lipa Cave as one of the most beautiful places to visit in Montenegro. All visitors to Lipska Cave depart on the tour by minibus accompanied by expert guides. Tour departure dates are regularly updated on the website: http://lipa-cave.me
